40, Leadenhall is one of the newest additions to the City of London Skyline, providing 900,000 square feet of outstanding office space. Working with our client, Atlantic Contracts, Bulgaro manufactured the centrepiece bar in what is arguably one of the most stunning office reception areas in London.
Located against the backdrop of the retained original brickwork of the Billiter Street facade with its integral graphic wall, the striking oval shaped bar is clad with blue fluted lava stone and a bull-nosed worktop to match, combining with subtle illumination and reeded glass, it provides an ideal meeting point for tenants and their guests.
The scale of the building is such that we were also asked to manufacture 13,000 Fire Rated, BREEAM panels to be installed across all floors inside the mullions between the full height glazed windows, all of which were finished using our automated spray line to ensure consistency and correct film weights.
